Here is the final newsletter from our Mayor’s Neighborhood Advocate, Mo McReynolds, who is leaving us this month.
Mo has accepted the Community Engagement Manager position with the Office of Sustainability. Our new MNA is Natalie Van Dongen. Natalie will be transitioning into the MNA position as of Nov. 11. Here are a few words from Natalie .
“My name is Natalie van Dongen and I am thrilled to be your new Mayor’s Neighborhood Advocate. I grew up visiting my grandparents in Lawrence, visiting Butler University as the daughter of two Butler grads, and eventually exploring the North side as a Butler University student. Prior to transitioning into this role, I served as the Communications Coordinator of the Mayor’s Action Center — a position that allowed me to meet and work with residents across Marion County to improve their communities. Through this position, I learned firsthand that the residents of Indianapolis are what make this city such a special place, and I hope to be able to work with each and every one of you in whatever capacity I am able to assist in making the North side an even more incredible community to live, work, and play in.”
