Mayor Hogsett, Broad Ripple community to celebrate opening of River House development

**Please note: the BRVA will be hosting River House Tours Thursday Feb 7 5-7pm for members. Details here.

On Thursday, February 7, Mayor Joe Hogsett will join Councillor Colleen Fanning and Broad Ripple community leaders for the opening of River House, a mixed-use development that includes apartment units, office space, and parking facilities. Community input helped to shape the planning and construction of River House, resulting in infrastructure improvements and investments in neighborhood amenities.

City support for this project is part of Mayor Hogsett’s commitment to rehab, transform, build or demolish 2,000 Homes in two years. Neighborhood revitalization starts with aiding in repairs and rehabs, tearing down blight in Indianapolis neighborhoods and supporting new construction of housing and apartments — vacant lots and underutilized land are opportunities to create productive market-rate and affordable housing units.
